Well, it's officially Christmas season; the tree is decorated, we went and saw Tuba Christmas, and today involved watching The Muppet Christmas Carol.

Which is the best Christmas movie of all time.

If you don't agree with that, you're wrong.

Not a bad day, I melted a candy cane in hot chocolate (yummmm) and finished off and posted a giant batch of Muppets Christmas Carol icons. And I got packed! Yes, in a few hours I am getting in a car where I will remain for about ~16 hours in order to go to my sister's new place in Missouri to spend the holiday week.

I mean. Missouri.

Today I broke out A Muppet Christmas Carol on VHS and watched it. (It's December, an acceptable time for Christmas movies! We will not discuss that I have in the past watched AMCC in July because I wanted a blue furry Charles Dickens who hangs out with a rat.)

Today I tracked down our family copy of The Muppet Christmas Carol -- which should probably be referred to as my copy, seeing as no one else actually watches it unless they happen to be in the room when I have it on -- and watched it, and as with ever year, was reminded of why it is the Best Version of A Christmas Carol ever recorded.
